Glenna Morrison 1949-2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Glenna Morrison on January 20th 2023, after a valiant fight with cancer. Glenna was fiercely devoted to her family and her many friends. Her passion was discovering and sharing people’s stories, which led to a lifelong love of genealogy and family histories. She was committed to bringing people together and strengthening family ties. Her friendships were legendary – deep and long-lasting. Glenna’s favourite saying was “In every conceivable manner the family is our link to the past, the bridge to our future”.
Glenna was predeceased by her daughter Melanie (Todd) and her father Brad. She is survived by her beloved husband Takis Pappas, her son Eric (Suzanne), grandchildren Tyler, Sarah, Zakary, Jade, and Josh, her mother Ethel, siblings Mitch (Jennifer), Lori, and John (Nancy), and the many relatives and friends that she touched during her life.
Somewhere a country music song is playing in the background and Glenna is at peace. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we are accepting donations in memory. Funds raised will benefit the Jewish General Hospital.
